About Our Roof Insulation Service
Effective roof insulation is one of the best investments you can make in your property. Up to 25% of heat is lost through an uninsulated roof, so upgrading your insulation can significantly reduce energy bills and improve comfort levels throughout the year.
Safe Guard Roofing South offers a range of insulation solutions to suit every type of roof structure. For standard loft spaces, we install mineral wool quilt insulation laid between and over the ceiling joists to achieve or exceed current Building Regulations requirements. For rooms-in-roof and loft conversions, we install rigid insulation boards between the rafters combined with vapour control layers.
Our warm roof insulation systems are ideal for flat roofs, placing the insulation above the roof deck to eliminate cold bridging and condensation. We use high-performance PIR insulation boards with tapered schemes to create falls on flat roofs, eliminating ponding water. All our insulation work includes appropriate ventilation to prevent moisture build-up and maintain a healthy roof structure.
